Milwaukee splits with Oakland to close out '20-'21 regular season

We have shown an uncanny ability to mount big double-digit comebacks only to let things slip away. This happened Friday night. Fortunately, Saturday was a different end result and for the first time in 7 games- Milwaukee won.

Congratulations to Te'Jon on scoring his NCAA career 1000th point in the final regular season game

Josh Thomas tallied 22 pts in both contests and Te'Jon Lucas had a nearly perfect game on Saturday (21pts, 13ast, 5rbs, 0 TO). Te'Jon also reached the 1000pt mark for his NCAA career, a milestone that, in another season (one more normal and more successful) would be celebrated a lot more. It sucks that we could not be there to help celebrate that mark.

CBJ added a career high 15pts on 3-4 3pt shooting and the Panthers got back in the win column to end the season at 8-11 overall, 7-10 in conference.

And so on to the Horizon League Tourney we go. We have been seeded #8 and are slated to play IUPUI this Thursday in Milwaukee.

We have a ways to go but now that we are in do or die mode there is only one way up and out of the rut we've dug into this season. Remember what Coach Jordan's team did in his only year here.

Let's hope we can live to put together some memorable basketball before it is all over for this chapter of Milwaukee Panther Basketball.
