Panthers picked apart by Vikings, are decimated 84-71 in 5th straight loss

The Panthers have been road kill this past month

Your Milwaukee Panthers laid another 🥚 on Sunday afternoon. After a mostly good game on Friday night against the Mastodons, this most recent loss (our 5th in a row) is cause for concern.

Milwaukee's Newby (12pts, 2ast) and Thomas (13pts, 7reb) both scored efficiently in double figures. Gholston scored a lot as well but needed 17 attempts and couldn't get to the free throw line as much (1x) as you'd want on 17 shots.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. (6reb) and Jordan Lathon (5reb) were pretty quiet in a game where their A-game was badly needed.

Vikings 3s kept silencing every Milwaukee attempt at a comeback. And on and on and on.. same story different game: we lost. This time 84-71 to the Cleveland State Vikings.

At some point you'd think we would break out of this rut? The season is dwindling down to its end and we only have 5 guaranteed home games left. That home stretch starts this Wednesday night vs. Northern Kentucky at 7pm CST.

Be there or tune in- I know I sound like a broken record but with most of our troops back, tomorrow night might mark the beginning of an historic college hoops comeback story.
