In a game that got a little too close for comfort before the final minute, your Milwaukee Panthers prevailed over Robert Morris Colonials, 77-69 downtown at Panther Arena last night.

The Panthers opened up a large lead early and allowed a late RMU run before half going in 42-38 at the break. The second half featured another ballooning Panther lead silenced near game's end, only to have Freeman and Pullian knock in some dagger 3s to clinch the W.

Our 7-18 from distance was likely the difference maker in this one. If we shoot 39% from 3pt in every remaining game, we will win well over 20 games.

Moses Bol (10pts, 4reb, 3blk) had his best game as a Panther thus far, with some crucial blocks, rebounds and points down low that RMU had no answer for. The game also saw Kentrell Pullian (13pts, 3reb), BJ Freeman (26pts, 7reb) and Markeith Browning (13pts, 6reb) score in double figures.

Elijah Jamison scored 5 points and distributed 6 vital assists.

Milwaukee's signature up-tempo "3 man weave" offense works to effect when we run it. The problem again seen in this game was, we run it far too seldom! 😅

The next game and final game of this current 4-game homestand is versus a fellow #1 in league, Youngstown State 1/21 at Panther Arena at 7pm. Let's run that weaving offense, continue playing good defense. We will need our best to beat the Penguins convincingly (or at all) and reassert ourselves at the top of the league.
