Danilo Jovanovich joins Lovelace Jr. in homecoming transfer to Milwaukee

Jovanovich played for Miami (redshirt) and Louisville after an illustrious prep career at Whitnall

The news keeps getting better for your 2024-2025 Milwaukee Men's Panther Basketball team. Former Whitnall standout and Wisconsin Mr. Basketball runner-up, Danilo Jovanovich has decided to return to the city that raised him to further his collegiate career.

Jovanovich is a 6'8" forward and will add elite competition for the forward rotation starting spots and main contributors. This news release from the AD last week shares details about Robinson, Stillwell and Jovanovich.

Danilo started in 5 contests for the Cardinals in '23-'24

It appears that Milwaukee has just a single scholarship remaining for next season and is targeting a veteran point guard to add experience and depth to a position that is finally getting the attention it deserves. We need a PG like any football team needs a quarterback.

Looking forward to a lot more local folks at Panther Arena this upcoming winter. It could be a great season- the talent is evidently in abundance now, despite losing BJ Freeman to Arizona State.
