The cupboard will need a lot of reloading in the next month. Stevie Elam has decided to enter the transfer portal. Elam averaged 10.5pts and 4.7reb for the Panthers in '25-'26, his first and only season with Milwaukee.
Elam was a standout player with an infectious positive character, a fan favorite and he'll be missed. Panther fans wish him the best wherever he winds up next (and possibly next, and next...).
The good news is- for the players who stay and the expected incoming recruits and upcoming portal recruits, the playing time in '26-'27 will be wide open.
No better place to be than Milwaukee if you want an opportunity to start and play a ton. And it won't take much more than a recruiting class that includes some sharpshooters to put the Panthers back at the top of the Horizon pack.
